This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for ScreenFine (the "Service"), provided by Stacklance ("Company", "we", "us", "our"). It supplements our Terms of Service. Because the ScreenFine subscription is an Apple In-App Purchase, refunds are governed by Apple's processes.

1. How You Are Billed

ScreenFine is offered on a paid weekly subscription of US$1.00 per week. All subscription purchases are processed through Apple In-App Purchase. Apple charges your payment method on file at the start of each weekly billing period and acts as merchant of record for the transaction.

We never see or store your payment card details. Apple holds the billing relationship for In-App Purchases.

2. The 7-Day Free Trial

New subscriptions begin with a 7-day free trial. You are not charged during the trial period. If you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription does not convert and no charge is made.

If you do not cancel, the trial converts to a paid weekly subscription at the end of the trial period and Apple charges your payment method. Cancelling during the trial is the simplest way to avoid any charge.

3. Who Handles Refunds

Because purchases are Apple In-App Purchases, refunds are handled by Apple, not by ScreenFine directly. Apple processes refund requests under its own refund policy and at its discretion.

We may, in exceptional circumstances and at our discretion, ask Apple to consider a refund, but the decision and the actual processing of any refund rest with Apple.

4. How to Request an Apple Refund

To request a refund for an Apple In-App Purchase, use one of these methods:

  • Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the ScreenFine purchase, and choose the appropriate "Request a refund" option.
  • On your iPhone or iPad, open the App Store, tap your account icon, tap Purchase History, select the ScreenFine charge, and follow Apple's "Report a Problem" flow.

Apple typically asks for the reason for the request and reviews it before deciding. Approval timelines and outcomes are determined solely by Apple.

5. Cancelling Your Subscription

Cancelling stops future charges; it is separate from requesting a refund for a charge already made. To cancel auto-renewal:

  • Open iPhone Settings -> [your name] -> Subscriptions, select ScreenFine, and tap Cancel Subscription.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep access until then, and you are not charged for the next period.

6. No Direct Card Refunds

Because we do not process payments for In-App Purchases, ScreenFine cannot issue direct card refunds for these charges. Any refund of an Apple In-App Purchase must go through Apple using the methods in Section 4.

Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory consumer-protection right available to you under the law of your jurisdiction.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy at any time. The "Last updated" and "Version" fields at the top reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after a change has taken effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
